Description
Our family has dedicated itself to the vine for 6 generations. Wine-maker at heart, it currently falls to Didier Desvignes to continue the work undertaken over a century ago. His attachment to the vine and his rigour has contributed to a high quality. His wines have been rewarded in the biggest Concours Nationaux and cited in specialised revues: Guide Hachette, Revue du Vin de France... - A quality harvest resulting in the collection of small quantities of grapes - The respect and the balance of the wine.
Didier Desvignes dedicates all his skills to the vine in order to produce grapes that are ripe and perfectly sound. The application of these principles on the soil results in a diminution of yields. The berries thus express all of aromatic richness of the vintage as well as provide a good balance between sweetness and acidity. Mutual harvests and a selection of the grapes guarantee a good richness.
This requirement is accomplished by working the soil in an old-fashioned way, as well as applying ‘lutte raisonnée†in order to limit treatments, thus allowing a full expression of the soil.
