THE ESTATE

A single estate, a single appellation

The Beurdin family grows 17 hectares of AOC Reuilly vines in the South-West of Bourges, in the heart of a region rich in history.  Yields are limited so that the care provided respects the typicity of each grape variety. Always aiming at perfection, Jean-Louis, from a 3rd generation of wine growers, makes a wine which reflets his passion and know-how.

The vineyard

Our vineyard stretches over the commune of Preuilly. The vines are on rolling hills of marl and limestone, with high sandy, gravelly and silty terraces. Soil plays an essential role in grape quality and this promotes the fruity character and the fine of each wine. Climate has an important role to maintain healthy vines and quality of the berries.
Vine must be cultivated and looked after all year long.

Sauvignon

The white is a dry and fruity wine, with great finesse. Rich in aromas it offers notes of fruits and citrus.
Long on the palate, its typicity expresses itself with the accompagning dishes.

Pinot Noir

A great complexity, the rosé is a dry and fruity wine with floral aromas. Elegant wine with its salmon-pink colour and full of freshness.
Lightly tannic, the red has a fabulous bouquet with an infinity of subtil aromas, reminding of red fruits. The wine is well-balanced, supple and harmonious with a delicate but definitely present nose and a nice ruby-coloured robe.
The cellar

The vinification process follows traditional mettons. Jean-Louis takes care of each step from vines cultivation to wine growing, to bottling and labelling so that you enjoy the best quality wines.
